Benjamin Šeško stunned MUTV pundit with surprise attribute vs Arsenal, it is “difficult” to deal with

Benjamin Šeško made his debut for Manchester United against Arsenal on the weekend and showcased a surprise attribute during his time on the pitch.

Manchester United began their Premier League season on the weekend and fell to a narrow defeat to Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Despite the 1-0 loss, there were positives for Ruben Amorim to take from the game, including the performances of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

Fellow new signing Benjamin Šeško started the game on the bench as he only had one week of training with the squad at Carrington.

However, the 22-year-old centre-forward was introduced into the game in the second half after 65 minutes. While he didn’t score, Šeško provided a good account of himself in those limited minutes.

Šeško surprised MUTV pundit with key attribute vs Arsenal

Former United defender Mikael Silvestre analysed the game for MUTV and was pleased by Šeško’s performance off the bench.

He highlighted the striker’s agility as a surprise attribute, considering his 6ft 5in frame, as well as his good movement on display.

“He will be a presence. He’s got good movement. He’s trying to make himself available and to receive the ball in the danger area. For 6ft 5, he’s very agile,” explained Silvestre.

Asked if he would like to defend against him, the 48-year-old responded: “Absolutely not. You have to go around him. It’s difficult. He’s a big, big lad.”

Šeško will be hoping that he can make his full debut for the Reds when they travel to London next weekend for their second Premier League clash with Fulham.

Šeško’s movement also stood out

Silvestre also mentioned Šeško’s movement after the game and that was certainly a promising part of his cameo and something that United fans will be hoping to see more of.

One of the major criticisms about Rasmus Hojlund was based around his attacking movement, which some labelled as predictable and basic.

While it was not something that Šeško was praised for much at RB Leipzig, his short display against the Gunners showed some sharp movements to create space for himself and teammates in the final third.

If he can keep up those kind of habits going forward then he will undoubtably find spaces to get shots away, and it is well-known that he can be ruthless in front of goal.
