Barcelona confirm travelling squad to face Manchester United in Europa League second leg

Barcelona have confirmed that Sergio Busquets returns to the squad ahead of their Europa League clash with Manchester United, whilst two midfielders miss out on the journey.
The Spanish side will travel to Manchester ahead of the second leg of the European tie. It ended 2-2 at the Camp Nou after Marcus Rashford’s dominance for United was cancelled out by goals from Marcos Alonso and Raphinha.
Old Trafford will be host to the deciding leg and Erik ten Hag’s men will be prepared for a tough encounter yet again.
The visiting team will be without three of their star players, however, as Ousmane Dembele, Pedri and Gavi miss out due to injuries and suspension.
However, the return of Sergio Busquets will be a large boost for the La Liga leaders. The captain has been an important player in Barcelona’s midfield for over a decade.
Busquets missed the first leg through injury but could be back in the starting XI for this encounter. Frenkie de Jong will likely start alongside him in a slightly more advanced role than he operated in last week.
It’s likely that Ferran Torres or Ansu Fati come into the starting XI as the left-winger. Gavi played there in a unique role last time out but both options would be expected to be more natural wide men.
