Amad Diallo is surprisingly listed as Manchester United’s joint-lowest value player, with three of Erik ten Hag’s squad valued at over £85 million.

The Reds are expecting to be busy in the summer transfer market, with reports stating that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are open to selling almost any player within the squad.

Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Højlund are three of the only untouchable members within Old Trafford, with the three starlets considered off-limits for the summer window.

United will be aiming to generate funds from sales in order to reshape the squad at the club.

There are multiple players, however, who will be difficult to offload, and even if they do leave, it’s unlikely to be for a monumental sum.

Yet, surprisingly, Amad Diallo is considered the least-valued player in United’s squad, with Football Observatory valuing him at just £4.2 million.

The statistical model is based on different factors, such as contract length, age, wages, experience, and previous transfer fees.

Amad’s contract at United runs out in June 2024, and he has had minimal opportunities at Old Trafford this term. That lack of game-time would likely contribute heavily to his value.

Meanwhile, within the squad at United, there are three players who are valued at just over £85 million.

Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Højlund and Alejandro Garnacho are the three with the largest value, according to Football Observatory’s model, within the squad.

Højlund signed a five-year deal at United last summer when he joined, whilst Rashford AND Garnacho also put pen to paper on a long-term contract in the same year.

Despite their sky-high values, it’s unlikely that United depart with any of those three this summer. Højlund and Garnacho are two of three players to be considered untouchable. Meanwhile, Rashford is against a move.
