Alejandro Garnacho has sent an important message to Manchester United supporters after the club’s 1-1 draw against Burnley.

The Reds were unable to win consecutive Premier League games for the first time since mid-February, despite playing Sheffield United and Burnley.

Erik ten Hag’s side produced one of their signature performances this season on the weekend. There were defensive fragilities, missed chances and, ultimately, a goal conceded in the final minutes of the game.

Garancho, 19, has been largely impressive throughout the season but has also had his issues in front of goal, which was evident during this encounter.

Speaking after the game, the young winger believes that despite it being a “difficult” season, the United fans must stick with the team, with the FA Cup final around the corner.

“It is being a difficult season for all of us,” wrote Garnacho on social media after the draw.

“The most important part of the season is coming and we have got to be together. Until the end, United!”

It is just under a month until United face their rivals Manchester City in the Wembley final after being defeated by Pep Guardiola’s men last season.

Ten Hag will be desperate to win that game, with many doubts over his future at Old Trafford, however, it does seem that the patience of some fans is being tested.

The Old Trafford faithful booed the manager’s decision to bring Kobbie Mainoo off on Sunday. People are also unhappy with some of Ten Hag’s post-match comments.

Yet, Garnacho is correct. At least until the end of the season, the fans need to stick with the players and manager. But at the same time, they must provide reasoning for this support in the games.
