Amad Diallo makes bold prediction about Man United star as £40m decision confirmed
Amad Diallo has made a bold prediction about one of his Manchester United teammates as a £40 million decision has been confirmed.
The Reds are preparing for the upcoming Premier League campaign in the United States on their pre-season tour.
Amad will be hoping to start the opening fixture against Fulham next month after ending the previous season very well and starting this pre-season strongly.
The winger scored an excellent goal against Rangers last weekend and looked sharp when on the ball. He created great chances for Ethan Wheatley and Jadon Sancho but neither were converted.
However, Amad is also looking forward to seeing his teammates flourish in the coming season, and he made a bold prediction about one of them this week.
The Ivorian believes that teammate and fellow youngster Alejandro Garnacho will improve once again this coming season and add to his direct contributions in front of goal.
In response to Garnacho’s post on X about the club’s new away kit, Amad wrote: “30 G/A coming,” with a fire emoji and an ice-cold face emoji.
Garnacho was extremely dangerous to opposition defences last term, but his final action could be somewhat inconsistent.
Should that click for the 20-year-old next season, then Amad’s prediction could end up coming to fruition.
Meanwhile, another United winger, Sancho, still has an uncertain future at Old Trafford despite fixing his relationship with Erik ten Hag earlier this month.
Sancho has rejoined United training and even appeared against Rangers himself. However, clubs are still reportedly interested, and United’s stance has seemed complicated.
According to MailSport, the feeling is that United will sell Sancho this summer if they get an offer close to their desired £40 million price tag. If not, he is expected to remain.
It was added that Sancho is one of the players they would sacrifice to strengthen in other areas, as he has multiple players ahead of him in the squad. Garnacho and Amad would both be considered ahead of him in the pecking order.
It was added, however, that Sancho has fitted back in at the club like he has never been away, with sources describing him as a bubbly character with a good sense of humour who can be a positive influence on those around him.
