Alejandro Garnacho played 120 minutes of football in Manchester United’s 4-3 win over Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-final.

Garnacho, 19, assisted the winning goal in the 120th minute and was excellent throughout. He earned a 10/10 rating in UtdDistrict’s player ratings.

United’s performance in extra-time was admirable, and Garnacho was at the heart of it all.

Following the result, it was revealed that the teenager had a hamstring injury in the week, which limited his time on the training pitch.

His younger brother, Roberto, posted on social media: “Garnacho has trained 2 days this week due to a hamstring injury , still , he is there running 120 minutes and giving the winning assist , Im proud of you BIG BRO”

The fact that the Argentine played the entire game is quite incredible. But his ability and composure to set Amad Diallo up for the winner was even better.

United will be facing Coventry City in the semi-final at Wembley, with Manchester City vs Chelsea being the other tie.

The Reds faced another injury blow before the game with Casemiro pulling out with a hamstring issue.

Erik ten Hag will be hoping that Garnacho will recover fine. If that 120 minutes is anything to go by, then it seems all good.
