Ajax considering Erik ten Hag job offer from Manchester United this summer
Erik ten Hag is on a shortlist of potential managers who could sign for Ajax this summer, according to reports.
Erik ten Hag‘s future at Manchester United is up in the air right now, with the club sitting sixth in the Premier League table and only competing for the FA Cup trophy left this campaign.
The chances of United qualifying for the Champions League are very slim, with the club sitting far from Aston Villa, who are in fourth place.

United have suffered some embarrassing losses this campaign, with Old Trafford failing to be the fortress that it was last season, and this has led to INEOS assessing the potential of changing manager in the summer.
And now, according to The Mirror, Ajax are offering Ten Hag a potential “escape route” from United this summer as they consider re-signing the Dutch manager.
According to the report, new Ajax chief executive Alex Kroes has been tasked with finding a replacement for interim coach John van’t Schip, and Ten Hag is on this list.
It is claimed that Ajax are refusing to rule out offering Ten Hag his old job back, but are not willing to pay any compensation fee during their hunt for a new manager.
Although Liverpool’s No. 2 Pepijn Lijnders is considered the “most realistic” option as he is set to leave this season once Jurgen Klopp departs, should United decide to sack Ten Hag, Ajax would likely pounce at the opportunity.
The aforementioned report added that Ten Hag could take the decision into his own hands, saying that the Dutch manager could walk away from United if the club does not give him assurances about the power he will be given under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
