When is the FA Cup fifth round draw? Manchester United details and ball number
Everything you need to know ahead of the FA Cup fifth round draw, as Manchester United look to win the trophy for the second year running.
Having beaten Leicester at Old Trafford on Friday night, Ruben Amorim’s team will now await their next challengers in this season’s FA Cup.
Winning both their games in dramatic fashion, thanks to a penalty shootout against Arsenal and a late winner against Leicester, United will need to press on to make it to the quarter-finals.
Reaching the FA Cup final in both of the last two seasons, United now are just three wins away from making it a trio of finals for the Reds.
When is the FA Cup fifth-round draw?
With United’s place in the fifth round confirmed the Red Devils will be counting down the hours until Monday evening when the draw will take place.
Set to begin at approximately 7:10 pm, the draw will be broadcast across the Emirates FA Cup’s social media pages.
What number will Man United’s ball be?
Manchester United will have the No. 1 ball. Club rivals Manchester City are No. 14, and although many expected Liverpool to be ball No. 10, their shock loss on the weekend means Plymouth replace them in the next round.
Which teams are already through to the fifth round?
Including Man United, 14 of the 16 places in the FA Cup fifth-round have been claimed. This includes Premier League sides such as Manchester City, Fulham, Newcastle, Ipswich and Bournemouth.
The teams who have qualified for the next round are as follows:
Manchester United
Manchester City
Millwall
Preston
Newcastle
Fulham
Bournemouth
Burnley
Cardiff
Ipswich
Brighton
Wolves
Plymouth
Aston Villa
Who is still to play in the competition?
Despite the majority of the FA Cup fixtures having taken place, there are still two games to take place across Monday and Tuesday evening. As a result, the following teams may still feature in the next:
Doncaster or Crystal Palace
Exeter or Nottingham Forest
