Argentina’s World Cup celebrations have been nothing less than brilliant, with Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez right at the centre of the action.

After one of the most incredible World Cup finals anyone has seen in recent decades, Argentina have been touring their homeland to parade their victory, with Lisandro’s name-sake Emiliano Martinez making various headlines for his… unorthodox celebrations.

However, Lisandro has been caught on camera singing along to a song, and we can’t get enough of it.

As a fan favourite at Manchester United, Lisandro Martinez brings a smile to the face of all that support him, and this footage once again just shows how much of a likable character he is.

“It was my first World Cup, but I was also very focused from the beginning, with the aim of becoming champion. We went from less to more and people identified a lot with our game, we showed good football and that is what characterises us Argentines,” said Martinez in a recent interview.

Club manager Erik ten Hag also had his say on the celebrations when asked on if Martinez would be back to face Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.

“He is still celebrating now in Buenos Aires now, going around in the touring car!” Explained the Dutch manager. “Going around in Buenos Aires and I can understand it, it is very emotional when you achieve this World Cup success in your country.

“It is magnificent – it is the highest that you can achieve [in football],” he continued. “Licha also has to understand that on December 27, the Premier League is back!”
