Victor Lindelöf rubbishes rumour about his Manchester United future
Victor Lindelöf has rubbished rumours that he is unsure about his Manchester United future as his contract is set to be extended.
Victor Lindelöf‘s current Manchester United contract expires in June 2024, with the club set to activate a one-year extension clause in his deal.
Lindelöf has benefited from Erik ten Hag‘s injury crisis so far this season as although he is no longer a first-choice defender, he has played 10 games this campaign due to the fitness problems in defence.

Lindelöf, due to his age, would be able to discuss with new clubs from 1 January as he would be entering the final six months of this deal.
There are some rumours that this one-year clause has already been activated – Lindelöf was asked about this during a press conference with Sweden.
“That’s more than I heard,” Lindelof said when asked if these reports were true. “But I have an option year and there is a deadline for it. When exactly I don’t know. But it feels quite likely that it will be activated.”
There have also been reports that Lindelöf is currently undecided about whether to commit his future to Old Trafford, but he has denied this.
“Absolutely [I want to continue at United]. I enjoy myself very much. I am entering my seventh year at the club. I feel good and the family feels good. It’s a club that I really like, and that I love to represent.”
