Victor Lindelöf injury update as Manchester United star spotted with a crutch
The latest on Victor Lindelöf’s injury status has been revealed as the Manchester United defender is spotted walking with a crutch.
Manchester United started the 2024/25 Premier League season with a gritty 1-0 win over Fulham at Old Trafford. The match was finely balanced until debutant Joshua Zirkzee, coming off the bench, connected with an Alejandro Garnacho cross to score the decisive goal past Bernd Leno.
Although United secured the victory, there were moments of uncertainty that unsettled the fans. Erik ten Hag will be eager to fine-tune his team’s performance in the coming weeks to build on this promising start.

While United saw Lisandro Martínez, Harry Maguire, Matthijs de Ligt, and Jonny Evans all make an appearance at Old Trafford, one man who was not present was Victor Lindelöf.
After playing the first five fixtures of pre-season, Lindelöf was taken off during halftime of the final USA tour game against Liverpool, with Ten Hag confirming it was a precautionary move.
However, the player was not spotted during training once the team arrived back in the UK and has not been part of the squad to face Manchester City or Fulham in the weeks since.
Now, a fresh update has been issued with the player spotted on crutches.
While his injury has not yet been specified, the fact he is using a crutch to support himself just on his left side suggests he is suffering from some sort of injury on his left leg.
Fans were also worried that Maguire had sustained an injury as he was substituted against Fulham, but Ten Hag clarified that this was not the case.
“[Maguire is] not injured but precaution. I’m so happy no injuries today,” Ten Hag told Sky Sports after the fixture.
