Two Premier League clubs interested in signing Manchester United outcast in January
Two Premier League clubs are interested in signing one Manchester United outcast during the January transfer window.
The Reds had a busy summer transfer window in terms of additions, with five players coming into Erik ten Hag’s first-team for over £200 million.
INEOS were also focused on shifting the squad around with exits, as many players departed the club such as Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Scott McTominay.
However, there are certainly more departures needed in the coming windows and the new bosses at Old Trafford are already considering their options with interest within the Premier League.
Two Premier League clubs interested in Antony
According to a new report from CaughtOffside, 24-year-old winger Antony is available on loan or a permanent transfer in the January transfer window.
It was added that Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are both keen to strengthen in attack this January and Antony is a name on their radars.
Another potential option for the out of form Brazilian is a return to his former club Ajax, who are open to bringing him back for a second spell in the Eredivisie.
A move away best for Antony
Whether on loan or on a permanent transfer, a move away from United is in the best interest of Antony, who has started just one game–against League One side Barnsley–so far this season.
It is clear that he is now far down the pecking order for the right-wing position, with Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho ahead of him.
With some more exciting talents in the Academy, there is little point for the Brazilian to be waiting as a squad player while the players ahead of him are both younger and have more promise for the long-term.
