Manchester United host Nottingham Forrest at Old Trafford on Saturday as they aim to put behind the performances in their opening two fixtures of the season.

The guests, meanwhile, hope to end their 29-year winless streak against the Red Devils and earn their first away win at the top level since January.

On the first weekend of the new season, Man United managed to defeat a hard-working Wolverhampton Wanderers team with a narrow 1-0 victory.

However, their luck ran out last Sunday when they were defeated 2-0 by Tottenham Hotspur in North London.

In a fast-paced match with chances at both ends, Erik ten Hag’s side dominated the first half and hit the woodwork three times.

However, Spurs were clearly the better team in the second half and a Lisandro Martinez own goal was enough to put the final nail in the coffin just after Pape Matar Sara broke the deadlock in the 49th minute.
