| Last Updated:

Manchester United will continue their defence of the Carabao Cup trophy as they welcome Newcastle to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

Manchester United will look to rectify their recent 3-0 loss against Manchester City at Old Trafford as Newcastle United make the trip to the north-west to recreate the 2023 Carabao Cup final.

In February this year, Erik ten Hag won his first trophy as the manager of United, defeating Newcastle 2-0 at Wembley Stadium in the competition’s final.

The two sides now meet again, with United defeating Crystal Palace in the third round of the competition, and Newcastle knocking Manchester City out with a 1-0 win at St. James’ Park.
