“Ticks every box…” – Manchester United urged to sign “powerful” wonderkid, INEOS planning 2025 transfer
Manchester United have been urged to sign an exciting wonderkid who “ticks every box” and INEOS are planning to make a move this year.
Manchester United’s form under Ruben Amorim has been inconsistent, with only four wins in his first 12 games, highlighting the challenges he faces at Old Trafford.
While some players have thrived in Amorim’s system, others have found it difficult to adapt to the 39-year-old’s approach.
It’s clear that Amorim will need additional reinforcements in future transfer windows, with speculation already circulating about potential signings this month.
The new INEOS leadership, led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is eager to continue investing in promising young talent, having already secured players like Chido Obi Martin, Leny Yoro, and Sekou Kone earlier this year.
United urged to sign Jobe Bellingham
Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman believes that Jobe Bellingham would be a brilliant signing for United next summer.
Bellingham, who has been described as “powerful” during his rise at Sunderland, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Goodman suggests that it would be best for Jude Bellingham’s younger brother to remain at the Championship club for the rest of the season before assessing his options in the summer.
With the lack of current athleticism in Amorim’s midfield, the pundit concludes that a deal for Bellingham makes sense as “he ticks every box” for the club.
“Unequivocally, I would be staying at Sunderland for the rest of this season if I was Jobe Bellingham,” Goodman told Plejmo.com. “Manchester United have been linked with a move for him in the summer and I think that makes perfect sense.
“He’s a midfielder who can do literally everything. He can play the deep role, conventional or advanced. He can even play as a false nine. He can pass, he can dribble, he can run, he can tackle, he can create and he can score goals.
“There’s been so much criticism over Manchester United’s lack of athleticism in midfield, so a move for Jobe makes sense. It might be a big step up and a gamble but he’s 19 and is only going to get better.
“He ticks every box for Man United and while it’s a different level, you just need to look at how his brother stepped up from Birmingham City to Borussia Dortmund.”
INEOS planning move for Jobe Bellingham
This follows on from UtdDistrict’s exclusive report which revealed that there is a strong possibility that the Reds will act on their interest in the Sunderland star and aim to sign him this year.
The club has been closely monitoring the Championship talent at Sunderland, and he has made a positive impression on United’s recruitment team.
United are likely to be losing Casemiro and Christian Eriksen within the next six months, which opens up space for needed midfield additions.
Atalanta star Ederson has been rumoured to be a favoured choice in the summer, while Bellingham also presents the opportunity to sign an up and coming star who has already showed to be consistent in the Championship.
United have not often recruited from England’s second-flight in recent years, with their last first-team signing from the division being Dan James in 2019 from Swansea.
