Erik ten Hag’s pre-match press conference for Manchester United’s Premier League fixture against Wolves will be broadcast on Friday afternoon.

The United manager will be hoping that his side are able to continue their impressive form at the Molineux on Saturday with another three points. They are currently one point away from the top four.

Wolves will provide a stern test under new manager Julen Lopetegui. They have won their first two games under the Spaniard.

When Ten Hag’s press conference will be released

The manager spoke to the media following victory against Nottingham Forest and the content will be shared on Friday across two time periods.

Part one of the press conference will be live at 13:30 GMT, whilst part two will be available from 22:30 GMT – you will be able to keep up-to-date with the manager’s quotes on UtdDistrict’s Twitter account.

The talking points

Jadon Sancho’s situation would have been a topic of concern for the reporters speaking to Ten Hag.

The 22-year-old winger has been training individually away from Carrington as he works on his mental and physical fitness. He’s missed United’s last six fixtures. We can expect the manager to give a fresh update on the winger.

The fitness of Diogo Dalot also would’ve come into question. He returned from the World Cup injured after Portugal’s knock-out stage loss against Morocco.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has filled in on the right side of defence and exceeded expectations considering his lack of game-time before the break.

Dalot, however, has been one of United’s best players this season and Ten Hag will be hoping he’s back sooner, rather than later.

Updates on transfer targets! (sigh) We can guarantee that Ten Hag will be asked about potential striker signings in the upcoming press conference. It’s the main topic of concern for United following Cristiano Ronaldo’s Old Trafford exit last month.

The Dutchman has been clear in his previous messages to the media: United are looking for the right player to sign. That is also difficult when you’re forced to look in the loan market in the January window.

Don’t expect any revelations regarding this topic. Ten Hag likes to keep his cards close to his chest and has been asked countless times about potential business next month in recent weeks.
