Ten Hag speaks on whether Jadon Sancho will play for Manchester United ever again
Jadon Sancho has not played for Manchester United since Erik ten Hag left him out of the Premier League squad to face Arsenal at the beginning of September.
After the fixture, Erik ten Hag confirmed to journalists that the reason for Jadon Sancho‘s absence was that he had not been training well enough.
This prompted Sancho to respond with a statement claiming he was being “scapegoated” in the Manchester United squad and that he is receiving different treatment from others.

Since this statement, Sancho has been banished from training with the full team, having been put on an “individual training programme” until he apologises to Ten Hag for what was said.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Burnley away in the Premier League, Ten Hag was asked if Sancho will ever play for Manchester United again.
“It depends on him,” was his short and sweet response. “For the rest, we are preparing for Burnley and that’s our focus. He will not be in the squad.”
Sancho and Ten Hag held talks after the players returned from the international break in the middle of September, but there is yet to be any resolution to the drama.
It has been previously reported that United would happily let Sancho leave in January, but only for a fee of at least £45 million.
