Sofyan Amrabat joined Manchester United on a season-long loan from Fiorentina in September 2023, with a loan fee of £8.5 million and an option to buy for £21.4 million. During the 2023–24 season, he made 30 appearances across all competitions, including 21 in the Premier League, contributing to United’s FA Cup victory. 
Despite his efforts, United chose not to activate the purchase option, and Amrabat returned to Fiorentina. In August 2024, he moved to Fenerbahçe, who sent him on loan to Real Betis a season later.
