Owen Hargreaves joined Manchester United from Bayern Munich in 2007 for £17 million and played a pivotal role in the club’s 2007–08 Premier League and UEFA Champions League double-winning season, notably scoring in the Champions League final shootout against Chelsea. However, chronic knee injuries severely limited his appearances, restricting him to just 39 games over four years before his release in 2011.
He now regularly appears as a pundit on TNT Sports and Premier League Productions, often giving his views on Rúben Amorim’s team.
