Bryan Mbeumo and Ruben Amorim have completely agreed about one “really good” Manchester United star ahead of the new Premier League season.
Manchester United have secured the signings of Bryan Mbeumo, Diego Leon, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko so far this summer.
The Reds needed to bolster their attack and that is exactly what they have done with these additions. Cunha and Mbeumo scored a combined 35 goals in the Premier League last term. Sesko netted 13 in the Bundesliga.
Mbeumo and Cunha have also both had time to adapt to their new club over pre-season, and they showcased some of their talents on pre-season.
While they shown promise during that tour, Ruben Amorim explained how the pair will only improve going forward, with extra time to build connections with each other and other teammates.
Mbeumo and Amorim completely agree about United star
Mbeumo has the exact same opinion as Amorim and believes that it is important for him to build ‘good automatisms’ with Cunha on the pitch.
The Cameroon international explained how he has been doing work alongside Cunha in training to improve their relationship.
“Cunha is a really good player, it’s good that we could share some training on the pitch together because it’s always important to have good automatisms in the team, and a strong link in front,” Mbeumo told TNT Sports.
“(We’ve been doing) some striker work, some forward work. I think we still have some freedom up front, but there are some principles to respect.”
United growing relationships will help attack
Cunha has already started building a strong relationship with Patrick Dorgu on the left and will hope to keep growing these connections all over the pitch, including with Mbeumo.
The ex-Brentford striker seems like someone who is very easy to build a relationship on the pitch with. He is extremely smart and has had partnerships with the likes of Ivan Toney and Yoane Wissa.
United have already been able to show off some exciting attacking moves in pre-season, with quick passes and movement which was absent for much of last term.
With these players growing further connections, United fans will hope that this will only improve heading into the new campaign.
