Sir Jim Ratcliffe told to sign two French players for Manchester United
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been told to sign two French players for Manchester United as he prepares to take over sporting control of Old Trafford.
Manchester United are set to confirm Sir Jim Ratcliffe‘s purchase of 25% of the Old Trafford club in the coming week, although an exact date for the official announcement is set to materialise.
Ratcliffe will take over the sporting side of the club that surrounds Erik ten Hag and is already being advised on which players he should bring into the team.

Mikaël Silvestre, a former United player, believes that forward Marcus Thuram and centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo should be first on the list of players Ratcliffe should bring in for Erik ten Hag.
“Thuram and Todibo definitely have the level to play for Man Utd. And I’m sure they’re on the radar and they will be scrutinised,” Silvestre said to bettingexpert.
“They will probably be put forward because it will be an easy and sensible transition and will make sense for INEOS to get the best scouting reports on these two players specifically.”
“They’re quality players. Both French internationals. Todibo is having a very good season. Khephren Thuram, a little bit less this season compared to last but still a quality midfielder.”
