“I feel…” Rúben Amorim reveals three positives he saw in Manchester United vs Everton training

Rúben Amorim has opened up on three things he saw in Manchester United training this week that he feels are massive positives for the club ahead of their Everton clash.
Manchester United will be looking to turn their fortunes around when they take on Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Rúben Amorim’s side suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in their last outing, a result that saw them drop to 15th in the table and pile further pressure on the team.
United will hope for a repeat of their commanding 4-0 victory over Everton in November, when Joshua Zirkzee and Marcus Rashford both struck twice in Amorim’s most emphatic win so far.
However, since then, former United manager David Moyes has taken charge at Goodison Park and overseen an improvement in form, lifting Everton to 14th place—one point ahead of United after 25 games.
Three things Amorim saw in training
United have had a full week of training ahead of the Everton clash following their loss against Tottenham, which is the second week in a row they’ve had time at Carrington.
However, last week saw the team littered with problems as four players were injured prior to the Spurs clash, but this week, United have not had the same problems.
Speaking to the press ahead of the Merseyside trip, Amorim has explained that this weeks training has seen the players talk more, ask for the ball more often, and giving directions to each other, which shows that they are beginning to understand his system.
“For me it’s more important in training, what I see in training is they are improving and creating relationships,” he said. Even the sounds of the training is different.
“We have to use that in the game and see it in the game and take that step. We are bonding and we understand the we want to play, but in the game we struggle a lot.”
When pressed on what he meant by a change in the sound of his training sessions, Amorim added: “The sound is when you making an exercise you feel the sound, people are talking and asking for the ball and give directions.
“If you spend your life as a football player even the sound of the training is important.”
Amorim addresses United’s performance levels
United have lost multiple games under Amorim so far, with eight of these coming in the Europa League – a point of serious concern for the fans.

The United head coach explained to the media that he understands this, and that more than anything, he just wants to see his team winning games.
“Guys, make no mistake, I just want to win games. I teach what I know, that is clear with me. When I say I stick to my beliefs that is the way we train, the way I see football and I try to transmit that to the players.
“It’s nothing like I will not adapt because we adapt, sometimes we have goal-kicks with short plays, and then in some games we do long balls because the opposition is pressing a lot.
“I try to adapt to the players that I have. My focus is to win games, especially in this moment.”
