Ruben Amorim makes three demands for Manchester United striker, Rasmus Højlund verdict delivered

Manchester United have struggled in front of goal this season and Ruben Amorim wants to fix that problem in the summer transfer window.
It was no surprise that Manchester United’s only goal against Arsenal came from a moment of Bruno Fernandes magic with a stunning free-kick.
United have produced a couple of decent performances against the Gunners and Real Sociedad, but in both games they could not win due to a lack of goalscoring expertise.
Rasmus Højlund was dropped against Arsenal but came on in the second half. He missed a gilt-edged chance to score and is now goalless in his last 20 appearances.
Alejandro Garnacho has also been without a goal in 22 matches while Joshua Zirkzee has netted just twice in his last 18 games.
It has never been clearer that United need a goalscorer in their ranks and Ruben Amorim wants to sign one in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Amorim demands for United striker signing
According to a report from The Mirror, the United boss has three main demands for a striker signing for his squad.
Amorim wants to sign a centre-forward who has a “physical presence, intelligence and carries a goal threat”.
It was also claimed that Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres are two players the Old Trafford club are interested in.
Meanwhile, the report adds that Amorim is “losing faith” in Højlund, who has also been receiving criticism from supporters for his dire form.
Højlund is not helping himself
Amorim finally took Højlund out of the firing line against Arsenal but the Dane somehow made things even worse for himself.
Chances may not come around all of the time for the 22-year-old but the lack of urgency shown when a golden opportunity presented itself on Sunday might suggest why that is the case.
Højlund looked like an amateur when the ball fell to him after Casemiro’s interception, with his first touch being one of a player with zero confidence, allowing Rice the chance to make a brilliant challenge.
His best chance of building some sort of form is still through making an impact off the bench going forward, but it was once again a night to forget for Højlund against the Gunners.
