Ruben Amorim has completely agreed with Manchester United fans when discussing one “special” star in his squad.
Manchester United have experienced a mixed start to the season but will be eager to build on their impressive victory over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
With upcoming fixtures against Brighton and Nottingham Forest, the Reds will aim to string together more wins and climb the Premier League table.
Several players are beginning to hit their stride, with all four summer signings delivering strong performances in recent matches.
Ruben Amorim has also expressed his satisfaction with other members of the squad, including Matthijs de Ligt, who is showcasing his best form at Old Trafford.
Amorim completely agrees with United fans about “special” star
Bryan Mbeumo has showcased his ability to make a difference in the final third, with three goals and an assist to his name so far this term.
On the other side, Matheus Cunha is yet to register a goal contribution for United and if you hadn’t watched the games, you might assume that fans are growing frustrated with him.
In reality, it is the complete opposite, with supporters incredibly excited by the impact of Cunha even without the goals or assists yet, and Amorim seems to agree with them.
“He brings something that is hard for us to point [at], it’s not just the ability and the talent,” Amorim told MUTV when asked about the Brazilian forward.
“He has something that he is really comfortable playing in this kind of environment. He can take our team forward.
“He needs to improve a lot of things, especially defending, but he has something special and he is a really important player for us.
“He can play in different positions, so I expect the same in the next game because, in our club, it’s really important to show it in every week.”
Cunha is making an impact
Cunha has shown that he can score in the Premier League with Wolves and it is only a matter of time before things click for him in front of goal at Old Trafford.
But the 26-year-old’s ability is already having an impact and his display at Anfield might have been his best game so far at the club.

With the clash against Brighton around the corner, many fans are hoping that Cunha can get on the scoresheet just to end this run and it will hopefully allow him to kick on to another level.
The most important thing is the result, however, and the Brazilian knows exactly how to help United get over the line in tight contests.
