Ruben Amorim has agreed with Dan Ashworth on one ‘incredible’ Manchester United star, who is regarded as ‘the future’ of the club.

Ruben Amorim kicked off his Manchester United tenure with a draw against Ipswich Town, followed by a Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt earlier this week.

With a Premier League showdown against Everton next on the agenda, preparation time on the training ground has been limited.

Despite the tight schedule, the 39-year-old is committed to making the most of each training session at Carrington as he strives to implement his tactical approach in the team.

Amorim agrees with Ashworth on ‘incredible’ Mazraoui

Amorim was delighted with Noussair Mazraoui’s impact after the Europa League win on Thursday, where he delivered a perfect assist and solid performance, and offered the highest praise for the player.

“He’s an incredible player. He’s our future. He always looks fresh, even if we have to be careful with every game. He’s the kind of player we need,” he told club media.

Now, a new report from Sky Germany has explained that Dan Ashworth and United’s board regard Mazraoui as one of the club’s strongest signings in recent years.

It was explained that the board and the coaching staff are extremely satisfied with the defender’s performances and that he is seen as an absolute leader.

While he may not be the typical leadership type, there is no denying that the 27-year-old leads by example on the pitch with his consistency.

It is clear that Amorim and those in charge at Old Trafford hold the same opinion about Mazraoui, and it is hard to disagree with either of them.

Mazraoui becoming fan-favourite

Many fans were unhappy to see Aaron Wan-Bissaka sold to West Ham in the summer, but to get Mazraoui–the same age–at a slightly lower initial price was a tremendous bit of business.

And the Moroccan has quickly convinced the fanbase about his level as well. Initial concerns about injury problems have so far been wiped away and his versatility is a well-received surprise as well.

He is quickly becoming a fan-favourite and it looks like he will be a mainstay under Amorim in his strongest team.
