Player Ratings: Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United (Premier League)
Manchester United have produced yet another poor performance in the Premier League as they lost 2-1 against Nottingham Forest.
The Reds were toothless in attack once again and Erik ten Hag made a comically bad half-time substitution.
Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, created several openings and former United player Anthony Elanga was involved in the opening goal.
Marcus Rashford scored to equalise but United couldn’t hold on when yet another goal was scored on the edge of their box.
The player ratings can be read below.
Andre Onana – 5/10
Both goals difficult because of the time the striker has, but still could’ve done better.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 5/10
Average.
Raphael Varane – 4.5/10
Fortunate his horror clearance was not tapped in when it went across the face of goal. Not great.
Jonny Evans – 4.5/10
Average display.
Diogo Dalot – 5.5/10
Created a great chance for Wan-Bissaka with silky footwork in the box in the first half. Poorer in the second half.
Kobbie Mainoo – 6.5/10
A few difficult moments in duels. Still offered a body at the base of midfield, which wasn’t there when he was subbed at half-time.
Christian Eriksen – 4/10
Below par, particularly in the second half.
Bruno Fernandes – 4/10
Poor.
Antony – 2/10
Same old story. Might do some good things until he reaches the final third, where you won’t find a top-level full-back who wouldn’t be able to work him out.
Marcus Rashford – 5.5/10
Scored a solid goal. OK display.
Alejandro Garnacho – 4.5/10
Good assist. Not enough decisiveness in his other actions.
Subs
Scott McTominay – 2/10
An absolute disasterclass off the bench. Nowhere to be seen for either Forest goal despite both being in the ‘defensive midfielder’ zone.
Amad Diallo – 6.5/10
Good display. Set up Eriksen for a great chance just before full-time.
Sergio Reguilon – N/A
