Manchester United drew 2-2 against Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League clash this afternoon at Old Trafford.

Goals from Rasmus Højlund and Marcus Rashford secured the lead going into the break for United after Richarlison scored for Spurs to equalise.

Erik ten Hag’s side were far from perfect, but there were two clinical moments that have been missing so much this term.

Yet, Spurs scored just 50 seconds after the second half started, and United failed to grab any control of the game.

The United player ratings can be read below.

André Onana – 6/10

Some excellent long balls. Couldn’t do much about the first goal. Second goal had power but positioning could be questioned.

Diogo Dalot – 8/10

Some very solid defensive work. Important clearance off the line. Probably United’s best player.

Raphaël Varane – 6.5/10

Decent. No idea to tell who should’ve been marking the man for the goal. Looked more like a structure issue from the corner. Had to defend a lot.

Jonny Evans – 6/10

OK performance.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6/10

Looked less comfortable on the left. Yellow card for winning the ball in the first half and some decent passes inside at points. Not much else of note.

Kobbie Mainoo – 7/10

Solid performance but overran in the middle.

Christian Eriksen – 5/10

OK passing-wise but was poor out of possession before being replaced

Bruno Fernandes – 5.5/10

Some absolutely excellent passes but needed to mix it up with shorter play more. United barely had possession and it was partly due to Fernandes looking for the ball in behind every time.

Alejandro Garnacho – 6/10

Solid first half and not as good in the second. Against a solid defender and still looks good on the right at the moment.

Rasmus Højlund – 7.5/10

Excellent first half. Goal and assist and causing trouble for Spurs. In the second half it was more difficult with minimal chances, looked sharp still though.

Marcus Rashford – 7/10

Really dangerous cross almost ended in an own goal, then moments later a brilliant one-two with Højlund led to another goal for the winger. A couple other chances in the second half he could’ve done better with.

Subs

Scott McTominay – 5/10

OK when he came on but didn’t address the problems in deeper midfield and missed a great chance in the final moments.

Lisandro Martínez – 6.5/10

Good cameo on his return.

Antony – N/A
