Player Ratings: Manchester United 1-0 Newcastle (Premier League)

Manchester United won 1-0 in their Premier League clash against Newcastle after Patrick Dorgu’s stunning volley made the difference.

Ruben Amorim surprised everyone when Manchester United started this game in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Patrick Dorgu playing as the right winger.

Eddie Howe decided to order Aaron Ramsdale to fake an injury so that he could tell their players to adjust their own tactical plan.

After that, Newcastle grew into the game but were stunned when Dorgu fired a volley into the back of Ramsdale’s goal after a long throw-in from the Reds.

United then took control of the game and created some more dangerous chances, with Dorgu and Matheus Cunha firing shots towards goal.

Newcastle controlled the game throughout the second half but United defended with passion and despite some bizarre changes, they held onto the win.
