Manchester United drew 0-0 against Leeds United in Sweden during the opening game of their pre-season this summer.
The Manchester United squad had around two weeks of training so far this summer ahead of this opening clash against Leeds.
Some players looked bright, particularly Matheus Cunha on his debut and Patrick Dorgu in the second half, while others look like they need to get up to speed after their breaks.
Ruben Amorim will be able to take some positives from the game but he will be hoping that the team can start to score more goals as the pre-season progresses.

Altay Bayındır – 5/10
Didn’t deal with much, struggled to play out the press.
Noussair Mazraoui – 6.5/10
An important defensive header early on.
Matthijs de Ligt – 6/10
Done OK.
Luke Shaw – 6/10
Not involved too much.
Amad – 7.5/10
One of the standouts in the first-half, looking superbly confident whenever he got the ball.
Casemiro – 6.5/10
A couple nice passes into the final third, done OK.
Bruno Fernandes – 6.5/10
Some uncharacteristic misplaced passes as he looks to get back into his groove.
Diego Leon – 7/10
One lapse of concentration early on but looked decent afterwards.
Toby Collyer – 5/10
Started in the no.10 position then moved to wingback, not much of note.
Matheus Cunha – 7.5/10
United’s best player in the first-half. His forward-thinking nature is a breath of fresh air and he looked dangerous.
Chido Obi – 6/10
A couple of good movements but not largely involved. Nicked a good chance of Cunha towards the end of the first half.
Substitutes
Tom Heaton – 8/10
Several top saves in the second half.
Leny Yoro – 8.5/10
Some excellent passes, especially across to the left wing.
Harry Maguire – 6/10
Decent until he came off.
Ayden Heaven – 7.5/10
Calm and cool in possession. Dealt with Dan James’ speed excellently too.
Diogo Dalot – 6/10
Decent on the right.
Manuel Ugarte – 6.5/10
Done well.
Kobbie Mainoo – 7/10
A solid showing in deeper midfield and came closest to scoring.
Patrick Dorgu – 8.5/10
After Leon impressed in the first-half, Dorgu sent a message to Amorim and reminded him that he’s still a solid option. He was United’s best player in the second half and was close to scoring had it not been for Højlund blocking his shot.
Bendito Mantato – 6/10
Kept things simple when the ball came to him but relatively quiet.
Mason Mount – 6.5/10
A couple good passes to open the Leeds defence.
Rasmus Højlund – 5/10
Unfortunate that his highlight was blocking a goalscoring opportunity for United.
Tyler Fredricson – 6/10
Jack Fletcher – 6/10
