Player Ratings: Manchester United 3-1 Hong Kong (Post-Season Friendly)

Manchester United won 3-1 against Hong Kong in their second post-season friendly match of the summer.

These games didn’t seem like a great idea when they were announced and it has been clear that Manchester United’s senior players look like they’d rather be on the beach.

Ruben Amorim’s side went a goal behind after an error from Tom Heaton but were also poor in front of goal at the other end in the first-half.

With a host of changes at the break, the likes of Mason Mount and Amad added some presence to the side while Chido Obi showcased his goalscoring abilities with two great goals.

Ayden Heaven added a third in added time with a well-timed header from a brilliant Amad cross to make the win look slightly more comfortable.

The Reds will now head out on their holidays and hope to show major improvements when they return to action next season.

The player ratings from this game can be read below.

United player ratings vs Hong Kong

Tom Heaton – 4/10

Great for the dressing room, not so much for the pitch these days.

Tyler Fredricson – 5/10

A couple of mistakes on the ball.

Jonny Evans – 6/10

Decent in his final appearance for the club.

Godwill Kukonki – 6/10

Done well on the left.

Jaydan Kamason – 6/10

Some bright runs on the right flank.

Bruno Fernandes – 6/10

Tried a rabona shot when he was played through one-on-one, telling you how seriously some of the United players actually took the game.

Casemiro – 5/10

Came off early. Time to enjoy his holidays.

Harry Amass – 5/10

Tried to overplay slightly. Should play the final ball earlier.

Shea Lacey – 8/10

United’s best player until he was subbed off on 25 minutes. Might have booked his place on the pre-season tour with his performances in Asia.

Alejandro Garnacho – 7/10

Looked lively on the left.

Rasmus Højlund – 4/10

Struggled to get space. Somehow didn’t score from close range.
