Manchester United won 2-1 against Chelsea in their Premier League encounter at Old Trafford after both teams went down to 10 men.
Manchester United started the game like a team full of confidence rather than one who have been slammed all week for underwhelming performances.
The intensity from Ruben Amorim’s men was clear and Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez was sent off after five minutes for wiping out Bryan Mbeumo on the edge of the box.
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring soon afterwards after a well-timed run before Casemiro added a second following a goal-mouth scramble.
While United seemed to be cruising to victory, Casemiro then received a red card late in the first half after a second bookable offence as Chelsea attempted to attack.
It was a quiet second half with 10 against 10 before Chelsea found a goal just before the 80th minute as Trevoh Chalobah scored a header.
Amorim’s men managed to hold onto the result and secure the three points.

Didn’t have much to deal with.

Won almost all of his individual battles. Excellent.

Two big challenges late in the first half and won everything in the air.

Great leap for the second goal.
Noussair Mazraoui – 8/10
Wingback is not his best position but he was regularly coming inside and that worked much better.
Casemiro – 4/10
Brilliant goal but utter stupidity to receive a second yellow card.
Bruno Fernandes – 8/10
Once again the man that brings the big moment. Great run and finish to score his 100th goal for the club. Kept working hard all game.
Patrick Dorgu – 7/10
Brilliant header to assist the opener. Worked very hard when United went down to 10 men.
Bryan Mbeumo – 7/10
Great anticipation to Šeško’s flick on which led to the red card. Worked tirelessly.
Amad – 6/10
Almost pulled off a brilliant assist but the ball just went out of play. Should have done better to set up Šeško after brilliantly winning the ball back. Just doesn’t seem to be clicking for him in the final third.
Benjamin Šeško – 6/10
Brilliant flick on to Mbeumo for the red card. Unfortunate to be the one who came off after the red.
