Manchester United won 3-2 against Burnley in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford to win their first game of the season.
Manchester United took a well-deserved lead but it was yet another own goal from Burnley midfielder Josh Cullen.
Burnley equalised early in the second half before Bryan Mbeumo restored United’s lead straight afterwards with his first Old Trafford goal.
The visitors scored again and it looked like it would be another frustrating day for Ruben Amorim’s side until Amad won the Reds a last-minute penalty.
Bruno Fernandes dispatched the spot-kick brilliantly and earned his team a much-needed three points.

Altay Bayındır – 5/10
Poor for Burnley’s second goal.
Leny Yoro – 7/10
Some big challenges.
Matthijs de Ligt – 6/10
Decent at the back.
Luke Shaw – 6/10
Seemed to lose his man for one of the goals, good in possession and pressing.
Amad – 8/10
His best game so far this season, looked much sharper on the ball and almost scored an insane volley. Should have scored at the end of the first half but won the game-winning penalty.
Casemiro – 7/10
Brilliant leap and header for the first goal, even if a bit of luck came afterwards.
Bruno Fernandes – 7.5/10
Quality cross for the first goal and calm to score the winner.
Diogo Dalot – 6/10
Poor for the Burnley first but then immediately assisted Mbeumo. A lot of good and bad from him.
Bryan Mbeumo – 8/10
It was his phenomenal pass in behind to Dalot which led to the free-kick for the first goal. Should have an assist after unselfish play in the final third. Scored his first Old Trafford goal.
Mason Mount – 8/10
Somehow didn’t get a penalty after VAR found a reason for it to not be given. Some very good play and must have an injury after being replaced at the break.
Matheus Cunha – 7/10
Injured his hamstring. Not what United need. He looked sharp.
