Player Ratings: Manchester United 4-2 Brighton (Premier League)

Manchester United won 4-2 against Brighton at Old Trafford in their Premier League clash as they secured their third win in a row.

Manchester United returned to Old Trafford this weekend to face Brighton, following their impressive victory over Liverpool at Anfield the previous week.

The Reds opened the scoring midway through the first half when Matheus Cunha coolly slotted home his first goal for the club since joining in the summer.

Moments later, his compatriot Casemiro doubled the lead with a deflected effort that left Bart Verbruggen helpless.

Bryan Mbeumo added a third for the Reds in the second half after a lovely move but ex-United forward Danny Welbeck scored a free-kick soon afterwards to stop Ruben Amorim’s men from securing a clean sheet.

Brighton then scored another late on which piled pressure on United but Mbeumo scored another to secure the win in the final moments.

The United player ratings can be read below.
