Manchester United won 4-1 in their second Premier League Summer Series clash against Bournemouth at the Soldier Field in Chicago.
While some Manchester United supporters were disappointed to not see Matheus Cunha or Bryan Mbeumo in the matchday squad for this game, they ended up being very pleasantly surprised with by the performance.
Bournemouth were unable to deal with the intensity and quality from Ruben Amorim’s side, who were much the better side throughout the entire game.
Rasmus Højlund took the lead early on and Patrick Dorgu added another shortly afterwards. Amad scored a third early in the second half while young winger Ethan Williams scored a fourth after a host of changes were made.
Bournemouth grabbed a late consolation goal. The United player ratings can be read below.

Tom Heaton – 6/10
Some unfavourable bobbles when the ball has come back to him.
Leny Yoro – 8/10
Barring a couple misplaced passes early on, he’s been excellent. Pressing well and finding players in good spaces.
Harry Maguire – 8/10
Solid in the middle of the defence so far.
Luke Shaw – 8/10
A crucial last-man tackle and looks much better when pressing forward.
Diogo Dalot – 6/10
Some lazy passes but also found some players in great spaces.
Casemiro – 5/10
Sluggish. He looks like a man who needs minutes on the pitch. The problem is that he is probably not going to be getting guaranteed minutes this term.
Bruno Fernandes – 8/10
Some absolutely exquisite passes to break the press. Controlling a lot of United’s play.
Patrick Dorgu – 9/10
Incredible so far. Physically dominant. A brilliant assist and also took his own chance very well.
Amad – 7.5/10
He’s getting fouled every time the ball comes to him and still managing to beat his man most of the time.
Mason Mount – 7.5/10
Brilliant thinking to take a quick free-kick and assist Dorgu. Solid so far.
Rasmus Højlund – 7.5/10
Glancing header to secure the first goal and has looked good otherwise. Better in link up.
