Manchester United have progressed to the final of the 2024/25 Europa League after winning 7-1 against Athletic Club over the two-legged semi-finals.
Despite going behind in the first half, it was obvious Manchester United needed to just show some clincialness in the final third because there were goals to be scored.
That happened in the second half after changes were made. Mason Mount and Amad made a major impact for Ruben Amorim’s side.
Mount scored the first before Casemiro and Rasmus Hojlund added two more. In the final minutes of the game, Mount scored a stunner with his weak foot from near the half way line to make it 4-1 on the night.

Should have got a better hand on the goal. Didn’t have much else to deal with.
Victor Lindelof – 6/10
A decent display bar a few dodgy moments.
Harry Maguire – 5/10
His worst performance in a while. A few sloppy moments on the ball, one led to the Bilbao goal.
Leny Yoro – 9/10
Magnificent performance from the 19 year old. What a player and brilliant for the third goal.
Noussair Mazraoui – 8/10
Booked for jumping. A solid performance overall.
Manuel Ugarte – 6/10
Over this tie, he’s seemed hopeless in the middle but better when he approaches the box.
Casemiro – 7/10
Another brilliant goal. Not his best display but still did the job.
Patrick Dorgu – 6/10
He got a lot of joy on the flanks but failing to make the chances count. Probably did deserve to earn a penalty after being hacked in the box.
Alejandro Garnacho – 6/10
Missed two huge chances in the first half. A difficult game for him.
Bruno Fernandes – 8/10
Brilliant assist for Casemiro, solid overall.
Rasmus Hojlund – 7/10
His general play was disappointing but grabbed himself an important goal late on.
