Player Ratings: Manchester United 2-0 PAOK (Europa League)
Manchester United won 2-0 against Greek side PAOK in their Europa League clash at Old Trafford.
It was a lacklustre half from Manchester United in the first half but they managed to produce in front of goal after the break with Amad Diallo scoring both goals.
Ruud van Nistelrooy would have been extremely pleased with the 22-year-old, who was easily the Man of the Match.
More importantly, the Reds managed to win their first Europa League game in over a year and it puts them in a much better position in the table.
The United player ratings can be read below.
Man Utd player ratings vs PAOK
André Onana – 7/10
Some really good long passes to the flanks and a couple of important saves.
Noussair Mazraoui – 8/10
A very good performance. He’s the perfect player to link up with.
Victor Lindelöf – 6.5/10
Decent display throughout.
Jonny Evans – 6/10
OK performance.
Diogo Dalot – 6.5/10
A decent first half. Some mistakes in possession. Looks like he needs some rest.
Casemiro – 8/10
Pretty solid overall, with some nice moments in the final third too.
Manuel Ugarte – 6/10
An average display. Some mistakes on the ball, better off it.
Amad Diallo – 9/10
United’s best player in his first start in over a month. The first half included some great pressing, dribbling and link up play without the finishing touch – that came twice in the second half.
Bruno Fernandes – 7/10
A brilliant assist for the opener. Decent overall.
Alejandro Garnacho – 5/10
Looked unsure on the ball in the final third.
Rasmus Højlund – 5/10
Not involved enough at all.
Substitutes
Lisandro Martínez – 6/10
Christian Eriksen – 6/10
Marcus Rashford – 6/10
Mason Mount – 6/10
Joshua Zirkzee – N/A
