Player Ratings: Manchester United 5-2 Leicester City (Carabao Cup)
Manchester United won 5-2 against Leicester City in their Carabao Cup clash at Old Trafford as they progressed into the quarter-final of the competition.
Ruud van Nistelrooy led Manchester United into the game as interim manager but had limited time to make any significant influence on the team.
Nevertheless, United looked much better in the attacking area, with five goals scored against Premier League opposition for the first time since August 2021.
Despite a couple of sloppy goals conceded in the first-half, the team put in a solid display worthy of progressing to the next round.

Alejandro Garnacho – 8.5/10
Looked really sharp, a good goal and slightly fortunate assist due to Casemiro’s sublime finish.

Will be thankful to Justin for guiding his free-kick in but then showed his class with the second goal, taking the ball around the keeper and smashing it into the back of the net.
