Player Ratings: Manchester United vs FC Twente (Europa League)

Manchester United have drawn 1-1 against FC Twente in their opening Europa League clash of the season at Old Trafford.

The Reds have had a decent first half display which was topped off by a brilliant goal from Christian Eriksen to put Erik ten Hag’s side in the lead.

However, the Dane was then the man who made a mistake in the build-up for United’s opponents to equalise.

An opening gameweek draw was far from what United needed in their Europa League campaign.

André Onana – 6/10

Some nice distribution. Gambled for the goal and it didn’t come off.

Noussair Mazraoui – 7/10

Some important defensive interceptions and good in possession.

Harry Maguire – 6/10

A decent display. Close to scoring at the end.

Lisandro Martínez – 6/10

A decent display.

Diogo Dalot – 8/10

Very important in United’s play when coming inside. Involved in the goal. One of the better players.

Manuel Ugarte – 4/10

A really difficult game for the new boy.

Christian Eriksen – 7/10

Brilliant first half and thunderous strike but poor for the goal and afterwards.

Amad Diallo – 7.5/10

Things happen when the ball comes to him. United didn’t create much after he came off.

Bruno Fernandes – 5/10

Not a great showing from the captain.

Marcus Rashford – 8/10

Looked really sharp once again. Put a brilliant cross into the danger area midway through the first half and constantly terrified his fullback.

Joshua Zirkzee – 7.5/10

Some brilliant link-up play. United dropped off once again when he came off.
