Manchester United lost 2-1 against Arsenal at half-time in their third pre-season friendly of the summer.

The Reds started the game well and scored the opener through Rasmus Højlund, who had to come off due to injury shortly afterwards.

Erik ten Hag also had to replace Leny Yoro before the half-time whistle due to another injury concern.

Arsenal scored midway through the first half before scoring the eventual winner towards the end of the game.

The player ratings can be read below.

André Onana – 6/10

A good save early on and couldn’t do anything about the goal.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7/10

A solid block and some good moves going forward.

Leny Yoro – 7/10

Recovered well from a mistake in the opening minute and played well up until a worrying knock. Came off shortly after the 30-minute mark.

Harry Maguire – 6/10

A couple of dodgy moments defensively. Decent otherwise.

Harry Amass – 8/10

A really positive first half. Looks comfortable in the environment, both defensively and offensively.

Toby Collyer – 7/10

Some good tackles and kept the ball moving. Solid.

Casemiro – 6/10

Decent so far.

Mason Mount – 8/10

Involved in a lot of the good United did going forward. Good so far.

Amad Diallo – 6/10

A strong start to the game, and not as involved in the latter stages of the half.

Marcus Rashford – 6/10

A great pass in behind for Højlund’s goal and a few good passes during United’s attacks.

Rasmus Højlund – 7/10

Great strength and pace before scoring his goal. Worryingly came off early with what looked to be a groin problem.

Subs

Hannibal Mejbri – 6/10

Not involved much.

Rhys Bennett – 6/10

Did a decent job during the short time on the pitch.

James Scanlon – 5/10

Difficult time against a top winger playing out of position.

Will Fish – 6/10

Should’ve done better for the late goal.

Jonny Evans – 6/10

Decent overall.

Sam Murray – 6/10

OK performance.

Christian Eriksen – 6/10

Not much time on the ball.

Scott McTominay – 5/10

Some good and bad moments.

Antony – 5/10

Not much from him. A couple of shots after cutting inside but no danger.

Jadon Sancho – 6/10

Looked better when he drifted to the right but not much from him either.

Ethan Wheatley – 6/10

Difficult to play as the striker in a half like that. Not much of note.
