Manchester United drew 0-0 against Liverpool at Anfield as Erik ten Hag’s side held on in the difficult Premier League clash.

It was Liverpool domination for the most part, with Ten Hag’s men struggling to build play from the back.

There were a few chances for The Reds on the break, but they didn’t make the most of them. Ultimately, they’ll be happy to take a point from the game.

The player ratings can be read below.

Andre Onana – 7/10

Some very solid saves. Poor with his ball playing but a couple of excellent passes almost unlocked Liverpool’s defence

Diogo Dalot – 6.5/10

Decent performance, Michael Oliver wanted the game to be about him, so gave Dalot a red in the last minutes. For… no reason.

Raphael Varane – 8/10

Some great work in the box. Organised well.

Jonny Evans – 8/10

Amazing performance at the back.

Luke Shaw – 7.5/10

Solid defensively against Mo Salah and others across the game.

Sofyan Amrabat – 4/10

Too many dodgy moments, and found it difficult to keep up with some Liverpool attacks. Booked late on in the first half.

Kobbie Mainoo – 8.5/10

Played beyond his years yet again. Unfortunate to receive a yellow card for a slightly mistimed tackle early on but remained calm in possession and helped create several United openings, including one of their best chances. Man of the Match.

Scott McTominay – 5/10

Not much went on in the Scotsman’s game. Pressed relentlessly but little joy in possession when he got the ball with some sloppy moments.

Antony – 6/10

Some good and bad moments. Looked like the out-ball for United on the counter and worked tirelessly defensively too.

Rasmus Hojlund – 5/10

Little to attack. Pressed decently, held the ball up when it came to him OK. His one chance on his weak foot was saved well but perhaps could’ve done better.

Alejandro Garnacho – 5/10

A pretty quiet game but worked hard defensively. Replaced midway through the second half.

Subs

Marcus Rashford – 5/10

Minimal impact.

Facundo Pellistri – N/A

Hannibal Mejbri – N/A
