Manchester United won 2-1 against Liverpool in their Premier League clash against Liverpool after Harry Maguire headed in a late winner.
It was the perfect start to a difficult clash for Manchester United when Amad set up Bryan Mbeumo to score the opener after just 65 seconds.
Ruben Amorim’s men had to defend against Liverpool attacks soon afterwards and were saved by the post on one occasion before Senne Lammens also made an important stop.
United have had opportunities on the transition to score a second goal, with the best chance falling to Bruno Fernandes on the edge of the box, but they were unable to take another chance before Liverpool equalised late in the second half.
It seemed like United would then have to hold onto the point but Harry Maguire managed to head home in the closing stages to secure an important win at Anfield.

Some very nice passes, including in the build-up for the opener, but he looked poor in the second half until a brilliant assist for the winning goal.

He looked nervy on the left side, and wasn’t much better when he moved to the right.
Bryan Mbeumo – 8/10
Battled well all game took his goal brilliantly.
Mason Mount – 6/10
Important running and some nice passes before coming off.

OK first half, much better in the second. Helped United get up the pitch several times.
