Player Ratings: Liverpool 2-2 Manchester United (Premier League)

Manchester United drew 2-2 against Liverpool in their first Premier League clash of 2025 at Anfield Stadium.

The Reds provided a really solid display considering the circumstances and opponents. They could have taken all three points at the end of the game.

Man Utd player ratings vs Liverpool

André Onana – 7/10

A big save against Mac Allister on the volley and then some good stops in the second half.

Matthijs de Ligt – 4/10

Poor defending for Liverpool’s first and gave away the penalty, that was quite harsh though.

Harry Maguire – 8/10

A really good performance and it would have been topped off by a last minute winner but he could not keep his shot down.

Lisandro Martínez – 8/10

An unbelievable pass to Hojlund at the end of the first half and opened the scoring with a bullet into the roof of the net.

Noussair Mazraoui – 8/10

Done really well on the right, helping to United calm down in possession.

Manuel Ugarte – 9/10

It felt like he couldn’t do anything wrong in this game. Winning the ball constantly and always seems to make the right pass.

Kobbie Mainoo – 7.5/10

A couple sloppy moments early on but grew into the game and provided a threat going forward.

Diogo Dalot – 8/10

Never stopped running during the game. A good performance, especially being on a booking for most of the game against Salah.

Amad Diallo – 8/10

A brilliant goal and provided the energy that United needed. Good display.

Bruno Fernandes – 8.5/10

He was the heartbeat of the United team going forward. Assisted the opener and kept creating openings for his team.

Rasmus Hojlund – 5/10

Worked his socks off but didn’t really get the better of the Liverpool defenders much.
