The United player ratings can be read below.
United player ratings vs Leeds
Senne Lammens – 6/10
Should have probably done better for Leeds’ goal.
Leny Yoro – 6/10
So close to scoring with a close-ranged header but it was well saved. Subbed off early in the second half.
Ayden Heaven – 7.5/10
Some important challenges. Outpaced for the goal but it was still a strong performance.
Lisandro Martínez – 8.5/10
United’s best player. Quality on the ball all game and some strong defensive challenges.
Diogo Dalot – 4/10
Struggled all game. Sloppy pass led to Leeds’ goal and couldn’t do anything creatively.
Manuel Ugarte – 7/10
His best game so far this season but still should have done better with the ball in attacks.
Casemiro – 7/10
Very solid for most of the game. Won a lot of tackles alongside Ugarte.
Luke Shaw – 6/10
Provided some danger on the left flank but didn’t offer enough. Calm on the ball.
Patrick Dorgu – 5/10
Good first half but couldn’t do anything in the second period. Should have came off as he was wasting so many chances.
Matheus Cunha – 7/10
Scored United’s only goal and looked a threat but there’s only so much he can do with just one attack-minded teammate on the pitch for 60 odd minutes.
Benjamin Šeško – 5/10
Fought well but missed a few good chances.
Substitutes
Joshua Zirkzee – 8.5/10
