Player Ratings: Everton 2-2 Manchester United (Premier League)
Manchester United managed to salvage a 2-2 draw in their Premier League clash against Everton this afternoon after a dismal first-half display.
Manchester United are a relegation-threatened side right now and there’s no denying it.
Everton were all over Ruben Amorim’s side in the first-half of this game. Beto scored the opener before Abdoulaye Doucouré added a second and the defending from United was Championship standard on both occasions – and that is generous.
Amorim’s side were not much better at the beginning of the second-half, but a moment of magic from a Bruno Fernandes free-kick gave them a goal and woke United up.
Manuel Ugarte scored a lovely half volley to equalise, with impacts from Alejandro Garnacho and Chido Obi from the bench.
However, it seemed like Everton were gifted a last-minute penalty, but VAR ruled the spot-kick out to save United’s blushes.
Ratings can be read below.
United player ratings vs Everton

Pathetic and fortunate that the penalty was overturned. He pushed the ball right back into danger.
Noussair Mazraoui – 5/10
Very poor first-half, improved in the second until he came off.
Harry Maguire – 4/10
Disastrous first half but better in the second.
Matthijs de Ligt – 3/10
Horrible first half performance, looking like he could not pass the ball. Ended the game better.
Diogo Dalot – 2/10
Similar to his defensive teammates, awful in the first, slightly better in the second.
Casemiro – 2/10
Very poor in the middle.
Manuel Ugarte – 5/10
Performance was extremely questionable but he delivered a big moment.

United’s best player throughout the game.

He might suit the Championship. And he may be there next season.
