Player Ratings: Burnley 2-2 Manchester United (Premier League)

Manchester United drew 2-2 to Burnley at Turf Moor in their Premier League clash after Benjamin Šeško scored twice.

Darren Fletcher took charge of his first game as interim Manchester United manager and it was some misfortune that led to the opener.

An unfortunate deflection from Ayden Heaven led to Burnley scoring and United have been decent since then but have been unable to get on the scoresheet.

A perfectly fine goal from Lisandro Martínez was disallowed while Burnley produced two goal-line clearances throughout the half.

United secured an early equaliser in the second half through Benjamin Šeško after a great pass from Bruno Fernandes. The striker then grabbed another goal after a cross from Patrick Dorgu.

But the Reds could not hold onto the win and conceded a second goal, meaning that they dropped points once again.

The United player ratings can be read below.

Couldn’t do much about either goal.

Diogo Dalot – 5/10

OK display.

Ayden Heaven – 6/10

Very unfortunate deflection for the opener.

Lisandro Martínez – 6/10

Looked to score but punished for an extremely soft foul on Kyle Walker. Good for most of the game but didn’t do well enough for the second goal.

Luke Shaw – 7/10

Good play in tight spaces.

Casemiro – 5/10

Some very sloppy moments, including missing the run before the opener.

Manuel Ugarte – 8/10

His best display so far this season.

Matheus Cunha – 4/10

A poor display.

Bruno Fernandes – 8/10

A great assist and unfortunately he had to come off. Probably would have dragged United to win if he stayed on.

Patrick Dorgu – 6.5/10

Done OK and a good assist for Šeško.

Benjamin Šeško – 8.5/10

Two great goals and came close to grabbing a hat-trick.
