Player Ratings: Arsenal 2-0 Manchester United (Premier League)
Manchester United lost 2-0 against Arsenal in their Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.
Ruben Amorim’s side had a solid opening half in this game, limiting the home side to minimal chances in front of goal.
However, Arsenal once again scored from set-pieces in the second half. Two goals came and United had no response.
There were positives to take for United, although they simply gave away too many set-pieces to the team which focuses on them so much.
The United player ratings can be read below.
Man Utd player ratings vs Arsenal
André Onana – 6/10
Did well offering an option on the ball throughout, tried his best to command the box during corners but it is almost an impossible task with Arsenal’s tricks.
Matthijs de Ligt – 7/10
A decent overall display.
Harry Maguire – 8/10
Excellent first half display in the middle of the defence with some good passes forward too, probably unfortunate to come off early but he has only just come back from injury.
Noussair Mazraoui – 7/10
Another new role in the team and he did well overall.
Diogo Dalot – 6/10
A decent game.
Manuel Ugarte – 6/10
A mixed game. Some really good tackles or interceptions but some sloppy moments aswell.
Bruno Fernandes – 7.5/10
Very good in the deeper role, both in and out of possession but dropped a level later on in the game.
Tyrell Malacia – 8.5/10
One of United’s best players in the first half. Dealt with Bukayo Saka very well and also offered an attacking threat himself. Subbed at the break.
Mason Mount – 6/10
A nuisance out of possession but offered little with the ball.
Rasmus Højlund – 6/10
A quiet game where he had to try and do the dirty work.
Alejandro Garnacho – 5/10
He slowed down every time he got the ball in a dangerous area. Not much from him.
Substitutes
Amad Diallo – 7/10
Marcus Rashford – 4/10
Leny Yoro – 7.5/10
Joshua Zirkee – 5/10
Antony – 5/10
