Paul Scholes sends bizarre message to Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho
Paul Scholes has once again sent a rather bizarre message on his Instagram page, this time targeting Manchester United duo Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.
Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo have lit up the Premier League this season during their first campaigns as starting players for Manchester United.
While Garnacho has graduated from bench player to fully-fledged starting winger, Mainoo has risen from the U18s straight into the starting midfield at Old Trafford under Erik ten Hag.

However, Paul Scholes, who is often known for his rather bizarre messages about standards across his Instagram page, has decided to pick on both players for wearing hoods during training.
“Don’t mind hats and gloves, but no way can you train properly with hoods up. Standards begin on the training pitch. Bye!” the ex-United midfielder wrote on his Instagram story on to a photo of Garnacho and Mainoo in training today.
While we are sure that Scholes means well, it may not be the perfect time to try and make a point about United.
The training photos were taken on Wednesday morning, with the wet and rainy Manchester weather clearly visible in the photo. Also, considering the nature of Mainoo holding an item of clothing, it is not hard to deduce that the photo was taken during a calmer, less intense portion of the training session.
Regardless of Scholes’ mini-rant, United are preparing themselves to face Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Garnacho and Mainoo are expected to start once again – it will be Garnacho’s 31st start in a row across all competitions for the club.
