One change made after Rúben Amorim admission – Man Utd predicted XI vs Nottingham Forest (Premier League)

Rúben Amorim is predicted to make one change as Manchester United line up to face Nottingham Forest in a crunch Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester United are in sparkling form as Rúben Amorim gets his side ready for Saturday afternoon’s Premier League clash away to Nottingham Forest.

Amorim’s men have strung together three consecutive victories, seeing off Sunderland 2-0, edging Liverpool 2-1, and dismantling Brighton 4-2 at Old Trafford last weekend.

Forest’s campaign, however, has been far less stable, with the club now under their third manager of the season as Sean Dyche looks to turn things around.

United’s impressive streak has pushed them up to sixth in the Premier League, moving above Liverpool, while Forest sit 18th on five points from nine matches — promising an intense and competitive battle at The City Ground.

Amorim to make one XI change vs Forest

For the most part, Amorim has kept the core of his starting XI stable during his last three victories, with Senne Lammens being one such player. The Belgian has started the three wins in goal, and that is not expected the change against Forest.

Matthijs de Ligt has been a stalwart for the team this season, having played 90 minutes in all nine of the club’s league games so far this season. He is expected to remain as the middle centre-back, especially with Harry Maguire carrying a possible knock.

To either side of him, Luke Shaw will likely remain as the left centre-back with Lisandro Martínez not set to travel despite his return from injury, while Leny Yoro looks as if he will remain on the right side of the back three.

Amorim has already confirmed that Amad will start at right wing-back, but there may be a change at left wing-back. The United head coach admitted on Thursday that Forest are very dangerous on transition, and therefore Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu’s speed and power may be preferred over Diogo Dalot.

In the midfield, Casemiro is on a fantastic bout of form and is almost nailed on to start alongside Bruno Fernandes.

Up front, there are also no changes expected. Bryan Mbeumo’s brace against Brighton has secured him a spot on the right-hand side, while Matheus Cunha will mirror him on the left after opening his account for the club last weekend.

Benjamin Šeško has two goals and an assist in his last three starts and is set to lead the line for the Reds away from home.
