“No pain…” – Ruben Amorim receives huge Nottingham Forest boost as “perfect” Man Utd star breaks silence

Manchester United resume their Premier League campaign against Nottingham Forest next week following the conclusion of the latest international break.

For Ruben Amorim and his Manchester United squad, the timing of this latest international break may not have been ideal.

The Reds were starting to build momentum, and the manager will be hoping the two-week pause doesn’t disrupt their form ahead of a challenging run of fixtures.

However, the break has also provided some of United’s injured players with valuable time to work on their recoveries, bringing them closer to a return.

On Friday afternoon, it was revealed that Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw had returned to the teas training at Carrington ahead of the clash against Nottingham Forest.

Depending on how those players react to the sessions, they could be back in action for the visit to Nottingham on Tuesday evening.

Yoro provides Amorim with big boost

Yoro, 19, joined the club in the summer and immediately suffered an injury setback in pre-season which kept him out of action for a number of months.

The Frenchman returned to action under Amorim and was starting to impress the head coach, who described him as the “perfect” defender to deal with fast attacking opposition.

Earlier this month, Yoro experienced another injury in the 1-1 draw against Arsenal as he was withdrawn at half-time in the game.

After he returned to training on Friday, the teenager stated that he had felt “no pain” which could mean he is ready to be reintroduced to the squad against Forest next week.

“I feel really good, I am back in training today and [I feel] no pain. I am really happy with everything,” Yoro told club media.

Yoro’s injuries may be blessing in disguise

There was so much hype surrounding Yoro when he was signed from Lille last summer, mainly because United had beaten Real Madrid to his signature.

It could actually be considered a blessing in disguise that his first season at the club has been interrupted with injuries, as it has given him the time away from the limelight to focus on getting used to his new surroundings and club.

“Honestly, everyone in the club [has] helped me,” the teenager added when discussing his rehabilitation from injuries this term.

“Even with an injury in the middle of the season, the medical staff, the players, the fans, everyone was able to support me and this is something you need when you get a big injury. It has been really important for me.”

Yoro has provided some exciting performances when he has played this term and will be hoping to end the season strongly, with United still hoping to win the Europa League.

However, it feels like next campaign will be the one where Yoro truly shows his talent after settling into his new life in the Premier League this term.
