Manchester United have several players out of action and fans will be eager to know when they are set to return after the international break.

The Reds have had four players pull out of international duty this week after some grueling weeks at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag’s side have suffered on the pitch, with just three wins out of their first 10 games and will need to turn things around once club football returns next weekend.

UtdDistrict have provided the latest injury updates and potential return dates for those currently out of action for the club.

Noussair Mazraoui

According to the Daily Mail, Noussair Mazraoui has had a minor corrective procedure after suffering from heart palpitations. He was substituted at half-time against Aston Villa.

It was a precautionary procedure for a relatively common condition and is said to have been a success. The Moroccan international will be available again in the next few weeks.

Reports elsewhere have suggested that his return to the side could come sooner, with Morocco manager Walid Regragui confirming that it is not a ‘dangerous’ issue.

Potential return date: October/November

Leny Yoro

Leny Yoro suffered an untimely injury during pre-season after his move to United from Lille. He fractured his metatarsal and had to have surgery to fix the issue.

The teenager is approaching a return and has been training hard at Carrington behind-the-scenes. He captioned a post, “On the way back” this week and is expected to be fit for next month.

Potential return date: November

Luke Shaw

Luke Shaw remains out of action after suffering injury during pre-season despite originally only being expected to be unavailable for the first three games of the season.

Ten Hag recently suggested that the club have to react to setbacks in player recovery and that seems like the case with Shaw.

He has not yet been spotted back in team training but could be making strides over the international break.

Ideally, United would have him back available this month but it would be no surprise if the issue persisted into November.

Potential return date: October/November

Harry Maguire

Harry Maguire suffered an untimely injury against Aston Villa after he was reintroduced to the side following his last-minute equaliser against FC Porto.

He confirmed on his Instagram that he would be out of action for “a few weeks” and it is likely that we don’t see him until the beginning of next month.

Potential return date: November

Mason Mount

Mason Mount was unavailable against Aston Villa after suffering a head injury against FC Porto. It has also been claimed that the midfielder had a separate knock that he was dealing with.

It is unlikely to be anything serious and the midfielder is expected to be available once the team returns to action after the break.

Potential return date: 19 October (vs Brentford)

Tyrell Malacia

Tyrell Malacia has been back in full training at Carrington for several weeks now and this international break has given him extra time towards his recovery.

After more than a year out of action, the club will not rush the left-back but Ten Hag and his coaching staff are seeing positive signs that he could return to the pitch soon

Potential return date: November

Kobbie Mainoo

Kobbie Mainoo has played a lot of football over the last 12 months and it seemed like he needed a break.

That’s what many fans will be hoping is the reason behind him pulling out of the England squad for this week.

He has been managing an issue in recent games for United and was ruled out of the FC Porto draw but it does not seem to be a serious injury for the teenager.

Potential return date: Unknown

Alejandro Garnacho

Alejandro Garnacho was forced to pull out of international duty with Argentina after playing two games for United with knee strapping before the break.

The winger posted on his Instagram story: “I had knee problems in the last two matches, and I won’t be able to be with the national team, but I hope to recover so I can be on the next date.”

It is likely that Garnacho’s absence is so he can be fully fit for when United return to action but if he is out for any considerable amount of time, questions will be asked of Ten Hag, who played the winger more than any of his other options in those two games despite his issue.

Potential return date: Unknown

Amad Diallo

Amad Diallo is another player who had to withdraw from international duty with an issue.

The Ivorian Football Federation confirmed that the winger returned to United for medical monitoring this week after arriving with an issue.

He has been available for United’s recent fixtures but was used less than expected before the international break.

Potential return date: Unknown
